Leavenheath Village Hall's Christmas Craft Fayre: the Power of Community Fundraising

Many people don’t know that Leavenheath Village Hall is a Charity (No. 262816), run by a small group of unpaid volunteers. The only income the village hall receives is from its hirers & events the Management Committee runs itself.
With rising utility costs, the loss of the Ladbybirds pre-school & the closure of some clubs, 2024-2025 has been a hard year financially for the village hall. As a result, the Leavenheath Village Hall Management Committee (LVHMC) organised & hosted two fundraising events to boost funds in 2025: The Quiz Night on 13th September, and the Christmas Craft Fayre on 30th November.
Both of these events were extremely successful raising a total of £1,606! The LVHMC are so grateful to everyone who supported these events. The money raised will go directly towards the upkeep of the village hall & car park.
